The
area enjoys a dry desert climate that is neither humid nor oppressive, which
makes it an ideal environment. There are hardly any mosquitoes. The area is always dry
and sunny, rain is very rare. The winter months from December to the end of
February are more prone to the wind than the summer, however the wind doesn’t
last for more than few hours.
|
|
From mid
October to April the nights and early mornings can be cold and temperatures
might drop to 8°C, so remember to bring warm clothes and a warm sleeping bag.
During the day, temperatures climb again to over 25°C.
|
|
The day
temperatures from April to June are similar to warm summer in Europe. In the
middle of the day, temperatures average about 30°C but can reach 35°C+. The hottest months are
August and September when the temperature can reach 40°C. On the lake the
temperature is always a few degrees lower due to the cooling effect of a
large body of water.
