TRADITIONAL SAFARI BOATS “GANOUB“ & “BAHR EL NOUBA“

These boats where built in Aswan and have a steel hull of 14m. It is perfectly adapted to lake conditions and enables us to land on any shore in full safety. They have each 2 outboard engines, so we can still navigate if one engine should brake down. We can accommodate up to 12 passengers or maximum 14 passengers with family groups, depending on the number of children. There are no cabins. Each passenger has an assigned sleeping area and a full-size mattress and his or her private sleeping bag.

Each boat have 2 decks. The first deck provides eating space and daytime resting. At night this provides a cosy sheltered sleeping area. Each boat has a 12V lighting system. 220V can be produced occasionally with a generator we carry on board. At the rear part of the first deck you will find the kitchen, a shower and 2 toilets. A refrigerator for cold drinks is also stored on this deck. The upper deck is divided into a sun deck and a comfortable resting area.

We have 2 identical boats of this type in total. If you wish to come with a small group of up to 4 people on a private basis, we can arrange you a private safari with one of our smaller fishing boats. These boats are fully equipped with kitchen and toilet and can be fun too.
